Reza Sarvari received the B.S. and
M.S. degrees in electrical
engineering from Sharif
University
of Technology, Tehran,
Iran,
in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and the
M.S. and PhD. degrees in electrical
and computer engineering from
Georgia
Institute of Technology, Atlanta,
in 2002 and 2008,
respectively. He is currently Assistant Professor of Electrical
Engineering at Sharif University of Technology. While in
graduate school, he had the privilege of working in Professor James D.
Meindl’s Gigascale
Integration (GSI) Group.
His primary area of interest is modeling of interconnects with nanometer dimensions, operating at gigahertz frequencies / applications of nanotechnology in VLSI. He was the gold medal winner of the National Physics Competition and the member of Iranian team in the XXIII International Physics Olympiad, Finland. In the past, he spent most of his leisure time on Persian Calligraphy, Wheel Pottery, Playing Soccer, and Stone Sculpture, respectively!! |
