Saeed Bagheri Shouraki

He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in digital electronics from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1985 and 1987, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree on fuzzy control systems from Denki-Tsūshin Daigaku (University of Electro-Communications), Tokyo, Japan, in 2000.,He joined soon with the Computer Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology as a Faculty Member. He continued his activities in the Computer Engineering Department up to 2008. Currently, he is a Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology. His research interests include control, robotics, artificial life, and soft computing.

Ali Ghandi

He is a highly accomplished alumnus of Sharif University of Technology, where he successfully earned his Bachelor's, Master’s, and PhD degrees. His groundbreaking PhD thesis introduced a revolutionary perspective on the integration of experiential aspects in the procedures of reinforcement learning. Since 2017, he has been fully devoted to his role as a Data Scientist, engaging in numerous challenging projects and maintaining a wide focus within Artificial Intelligence as a generalist. His expertise spans across Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
Beyond his personal professional development, he has stepped into leadership roles in numerous real-world projects. His solid academic foundation, paired with hands-on applications, has empowered him to consistently contribute to the development and growth of AI. Forever pushing the limits of innovation, he has focused on projects that yield impactful breakthroughs in the field.

Fatemeh Azad

Fatemeh Azad is a distinguished researcher and academic with a strong background in electronic engineering and neuromorphic engineering. She received her Master degree in Electronic Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2018.
Currently, Fatemeh is pursuing a dual-degree PhD program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Sharif University of Technology. Her research interests are centered around CMOS neuromorphic analog/digital circuit design, neural networks, computational neuroscience.
As part of her dual-degree PhD program at HKUST, Fatemeh benefits from the collaborative environment and cutting-edge research facilities, working closely with faculty advisors from both institutions to advance her research in neuromorphic engineering.
In recognition of her academic achievements, Fatemeh was awarded the prestigious Solomon Systech Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students from the School of Engineering at HKUST, and Fatemeh was honored at the Solomon Systech Scholarship Presentation Ceremony on May 31, 2023.
